Nika at SaltCON and the NYC Gaming Meetup
Hey all, big things are happening in the world of Nika. I’m presenting it for the Ion Award at SaltCON on Friday in Salt Lake City, and at the February NYC Gaming Meetup (where you can also hear the always-entertaining Jon Stokes’ retrospective on the ever-delightful Whiskers). We loved your game, Nika! Congrats on the award! Our only comment we had was we felt the medical symbol on the respawn area didn’t feel like it fit the Geek theme. We are so glad we caught you Saturday night before you left so we could try this great game!

About the symbol, you’re totally right – I realized only very recently that what I had is not the historically correct symbol. The next edition of the board will have the right one though (one snake and no wings) so don’t worry, I’m on top of it!
That’s right… I had actually forgotten that the snake thing did come from back then… see, I paid some attention in history class, my teacher would be proud!
